Carnival, summer or an anniversary
A school anniversary, the end of a project week or the weeks before the summer holidays all offer a reason to celebrate. The DiscoShow can be one part of the day or its shared finale.

Hall, gym or playground
Music and disco lights can transform a familiar school space. A hall can be a convenient central venue. A gym often offers clear floor space, but consider acoustics and rules about footwear and protecting the floor.
Outdoor parties need suitable space, power and shelter. Discuss an alternative for rain or strong wind and consider neighbours. Tell us how the DJ can reach the space with equipment, including stairs, narrow doors or long access routes.

Use this as a discussion guide, not a fixed package or guaranteed schedule:
- Before pupils arrive: setup, a room check and a quick briefing with the contact person.
- First session: music and interaction for younger classes.
- Changeover: one group leaves with staff before the next comes in.
- Next session: a programme suited to older pupils.
- Finishing: a clear ending, an organised departure and packing away.
Choose your preferred duration and mention other activities. Agree the number of sessions, changeover time and breaks so the timetable works for teachers and parent helpers too.
Parent committee checklist
Choose one contact who collects the arrangements and is available on the day. Kinderdisco.nl supplies the DJ, professional sound, disco lighting, setup and packing away. The school provides the venue and supervision.
- Date, location, preferred start and finish times and budget.
- Classes, ages and pupil numbers per session.
- Clear dance space, access and power.
- Sound rules and other activities in the building.
- Supervision at the door, toilet visits and changeovers.
- Drink breaks, a quiet place and relevant needs.

Celebrating together, with care
Joining in your own way
Some children join in immediately; others prefer to watch beside a friend or teacher. Both are welcome. Make dancing an invitation and provide somewhere to sit quietly. Discuss needs relating to noise, lights or busy surroundings beforehand.
The DJ adapts music, presentation and volume to the group and venue. School staff know the pupils and remain responsible for supervision. A familiar adult nearby can help children enjoy the party in their own way.
Booking your school disco
Explore the DiscoShow and packages, then share your date, venue, class groups and preferred duration in the request form. Your proposal sets out the offer for your event. A particular DJ is not automatically included; meet the performers in the DJ overview.
If the date is free, book and pay the full amount straight away through Mollie. There are no unpaid date holds. If availability is confirmed later, you have 24 hours to book and pay, so agree beforehand who handles payment.
